Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection & Sustainability wanted to create various campaigns to encourage people to help keep their storm drains, streams, rivers and the Chesapeake Bay free of litter and bacteria.
One of these campaigns targeted dog owners, encouraging them to pick up their dog's poop and dispose of it properly, so it didn't wash into the waterways.
This is a door hanger that was placed on the doors of residents, with dogs, to encourage them to do their part in picking up/disposing of their dog's poop--even in their own back yards--so the waste and the bacteria it carries does not end up polluting the waterways.
