Skills
Strategy, concepts, copywriting for any marketing channel to elicit a specific response.
As a 20 year veteran, I cut my teeth on BIG brands at a NY ad agency, working on clients, like Max Factor, Revlon, Ford, P&G and Pepsi. We worked as a team: Copywriter + art director.
I worked with The Motley Fool, writing for their retention effort that offers a nice discount to subscribers if they renew their subscription now before it auto-renews at a higher price. I used persuasive, friendly copy in the Fools' voice, with ample proof of value for the money (ROI).
I worked with Franklin Templeton on a number of projects to include consumer and institutional audiences. I wrote for SEM, SEO and social media for the firm and also for NJBEST... the college savings plan for the state of New Jersey, administered by Franklin Templeton.
I served as the marketing communications manager/writer for Edelman Financial Services. Edelman Financial was ranked the #1 registered investment advisor in the nation, by Barron's. My team and I did a tremendous amount of stellar work for Edelman Financial that included everything from digital, video, radio, eNewsletters, print and social media (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram), with great lead gen results and client conversions. I managed/wrote the podcast for Ric Edelman's famous weekly radio show -- The Truth About Money.
I worked as product manager at Investing Daily (ID) in Falls Church, VA and I managed the rebrand, reposition + relaunch of an investing newsletter, which found a much broader acceptance. I also dramatically increased membership/retention for the Wealth Society, the most expensive product offered at $2995/yr.
I've written direct response (DR) for other financial clients to include Agora Financial, The Motley Fool and The Motley Fool Wealth Management, with great results. I created a new brand and web site for MEM Investment Research.
Through the years, I served as CD at an ad agency in N. California where I created the infamous 'Chili Pepper' campaign. And was VP Sales/Marketing for a dot.com start-up... we even sold for a profit, which was quite an accomplishment back then.
Some technology clients include Equiniti, The Wedge Group, Aubrey Technology Architects, Accenture Consulting and Learning Tree International.

Awards
My work has made various clients millions of dollars in revenue. In my world, adding to the bottom line is the 'award/reward' my clients and I are looking for.
